【GETO · Building Supreme Glory】 Bridge Series | Empowering Plateau Transport Infrastructure

Exceeding Expectations, Together at the Grand Event!
【GETO · Pinnacle of Engineering】 Series Officially Unveiled

GETO (SZ 300986) is the first A-share listed company and a leading player in the green new-type construction formwork industry. It is one of the few enterprises in the prefabricated and modular construction sectors that simultaneously researches, produces, and sells both PC and steel structure systems along with integrated solutions. Leveraging our experience from landmark global projects – including the Rangdaqu Grand Bridge in the Yarlung Tsangpo River basin, the Saribas Bridge in Malaysia, the Genting Viaduct, and the Kuching Urban Transport System – GETO has accumulated extensive expertise in public infrastructure construction across bridges, tunnels, pipe galleries, subways, airports, and water conservancy projects. At the Nyingchi Engineering Construction Expo 2026 (May 28–30), GETO will unveil two major bridge equipment solutions – Form Traveler and Segmental Beam Formwork – designed with modular and hydraulic systems to tackle challenges such as high-altitude cantilever casting, long-span operations, and complex terrain, delivering green and efficient construction solutions tailored for demanding working conditions.

Form Traveller: Core Equipment for Bridge Cantilever Casting

The form traveler is a specialized core system for cantilever casting of long-span bridges. It moves forward along the already-cast beam segment and integrates formwork support, rebar tying, and concrete pouring, significantly improving efficiency and safety at height. It is widely used in highway and railway continuous beams and continuous rigid-frame bridges, especially in challenging scenarios such as high-altitude sites, river crossings, and road crossings. The Form Traveller features a lightweight design with high-strength steel sections, modular assembly for easy transport, smooth movement on integral rails with universal joints, and a hydraulic synchronous drive that does not disturb the already cast beam. It is equipped with alignment monitoring and dual controls, allowing precise operation with a small crew. Multiple safety protections and abnormality alarms are incorporated, and the high-precision formwork effectively prevents slurry leakage, ensuring quality and safety throughout the construction process.

Segmental Beam Formwork: Mould System for Factory Precasting

The segmental beam formwork is a core mould for match-cast precasting of bridge segments, using the "previous segment end-face matching" process for progressive precasting. It consists of five modular systems – bottom formwork, bottom formwork trolley, side formwork, inner formwork, and end formwork – all fully hydraulically driven for efficient factory production. It is widely used in railways, highways, sea-crossing bridges, and municipal viaducts, suitable for single-cell single-box, single-cell multi-box, curved beams, and twisted beams. The external formwork can rotate, traverse, and move longitudinally to adapt to different segment lengths; soft lap joints provide fine adjustment for complex alignments. Hydraulic drive enables easy demoulding and closing. The bottom formwork trolley can move in multiple directions for precise segment positioning. A millimeter-level high-precision synchronization system is optionally available. The modular quick-assembly design, combined with hydraulic or electric-driven travel, effectively reduces labor intensity and shortens production cycles.

Global Landmark Projects Testify

GETO has accumulated extensive bridge construction experience around the world, developing mature technical solutions for demanding conditions such as plateaus, sea crossings, and complex terrains.

  • Saribas Bridge, Malaysia – One of the longest main spans of its type in Southeast Asia. GETO provided a comprehensive bridge solution, including custom steel formwork for cofferdams, capping beams, pier columns, T-beams, form travelers, skirt boards, and precast barriers. These products offer high turnover rates and excellent economic benefits, meeting both quality and efficiency requirements.

  • Genting Viaduct, Malaysia – A model of construction in complex plateau terrain. Over a length of 460 meters, the elevation difference from start to finish reaches 50 meters, crossing three mountain ranges and four rivers. GETO innovatively adopted a "precast yard + launching gantry" approach, customized the entire formwork system, and solved three major challenges – construction organization, preliminary surveying, and technical execution – while implementing green construction to protect the ecology.

  • Kuching Urban Transport System (KUTS), Malaysia – A key project in Sarawak state, with 70 km of urban bridges in Phase 1. GETO is responsible for the Red Line and Blue Line works. The Red Line mainly uses precast formwork for components, while the Blue Line combines precast and cast-in-situ methods (formwork for pile caps, columns, and capping beams).

GETO has led or participated in the drafting of numerous industry and national standards. To date, it has been granted over 300 patents and has received multiple domestic and international honors and certifications, including "Single Champion Product", "Famous Brand Product", "Green Building Material Product", and "Green Factory Certification". The company has independently developed industrial design software, a full-process ERP management system, high-end intelligent equipment, and automated production lines, establishing a digital and intelligent factory operation system covering smart design, intelligent manufacturing, and big data-driven decision-making. It has obtained L8 compliance certification for digital transformation. In parallel, it has built core functional modules such as integrated financial and business management and operational risk control, and has created an AI⁺ BI operational decision system (digital cockpit) that supports efficient enterprise decision-making.

Following the Belt and Road Initiative, GETO pursues a dual-drive development model (domestic and international). Since beginning global expansion in 2013, it has established over 10 production bases worldwide, exporting products to more than 70 countries and regions, registered the GETO® international trademark in over 30 countries, and obtained multiple international certifications such as Singapore BCA BAND2 and Malaysia CIDB G7, with a well-established overseas service system and local operational capabilities.

The two bridge equipment series showcased at the Expo cover core bridge construction scenarios, demonstrating GETO's "1+N" comprehensive system solutions.

With its local subsidiary in Tibet, GETO is bringing green, efficient, safe, and intelligent construction solutions tailored for plateaus, contributing to the development of plateau infrastructure.
