Project Overview
Against the backdrop of the deepening Belt and Road Initiative, GETO has been empowering high‑quality development of the local construction industry with its mature aluminium formwork and climbing formwork technologies. This project is located in a core area of East Asia. The main building is an 18‑storey office tower with two cores. GETO provided an integrated “climbing formwork + aluminium formwork” solution for the project, with the climbing formwork system applied to the perimeter of both cores, effectively ensuring construction efficiency and safety.
Project Characteristics
- Twin‑core structure: Two cores are constructed simultaneously, placing high demands on the synchronisation, stability and safety of the formwork system.
- Multiple design changes during the detailing stage: The client had strict requirements on construction details, and design changes occurred frequently, requiring rapid response and continuous solution optimisation.
- Tight construction schedule: The construction period needed to be shortened as much as possible while maintaining high quality.
GETO Solution
1. Integrated climbing + aluminium formwork solution
GETO custom‑developed an integrated climbing formwork and aluminium formwork solution for this project. It features a highly modular design, stable structure, easy assembly, and flexible dismantling, greatly reducing on‑site construction time and labour costs.
- Climbing formwork system: Hydraulically driven, the formwork climbs floor by floor with the core structure, effectively shortening the construction cycle and improving safety and working efficiency.
- Aluminium formwork system: Ensures high concrete finishing quality, high reuse cycles, and environmental friendliness, meeting the client’s dual requirements for engineering quality and sustainable development.
2. Full‑process service guarantee
Since the first batch of formwork arrived on site for assembly in February, the GETO team has maintained high standards throughout – from design detailing and product manufacturing to on‑site technical support – fully safeguarding the project schedule. Facing the client’s stringent requirements on construction details and multiple design changes during the detailing stage, GETO’s design team worked closely with the project team, responded quickly to modification requests, and continuously optimised the solution, providing strong support for steady project progress.
