Amidst the towering mountains of Genting Highlands, Malaysia, the Genting Viaduct, constructed with the participation of GETO New Materials, is gradually taking shape. This bridge is a key hub for regional transportation upgrades and a core road and bridge project for GETO New Materials, reflecting its deep commitment to the Malaysian market. The project fully demonstrates the quality of GETO New Materials' formwork system products and its comprehensive engineering service capabilities, becoming another significant achievement of "Made in China" overseas. Since its overseas expansion in 2013, GETO New Materials has created numerous benchmark projects globally. The Genting Viaduct construction is not only an important step in the continued implementation of its overseas strategy but also a practical example of building a strong brand through projects.

△ Overcoming Terrain Challenges: Breaking Through with Innovative Solutions to Establish a Solid Engineering Foundation
Located in the Genting Highlands of Pahang, the Genting Viaduct boasts a 50-meter elevation difference between its two ends within its 460-meter length. Its 10.858% gradient, coupled with its complex layout spanning three mountain ranges and four rivers, and the variable climate, presented multiple challenges to construction. Some pile locations were deep in the valley, making in-situ casting impossible and posing a serious challenge to ensuring the original construction schedule.

Upholding the spirit of craftsmanship, the project team, after multiple rounds of on-site surveys and technical demonstrations, innovatively adopted a "newly built specialized beam yard + bridge erection machine" model, fundamentally overcoming the terrain constraints; optimizing the bridge structure, and achieving improved construction efficiency and precise cost control. As a professional contractor, GETO New Materials provided full-chain services, covering roads, bridges, foundations, slopes, drainage, and municipal infrastructure. For the elevated bridge structure construction needs, a complete set of formwork systems was customized, including steel formwork products such as abutments, columns, tie beams, cap beams, T-beams, and truss platforms. The technical team closely monitored the on-site conditions, dynamically adjusted design details, and controlled the precision and safety of each process, ensuring high-quality products and services to meet engineering standards.

△ Triple Breakthrough: Overcoming Challenges with Craftsmanship to Ensure Project Progress
From preparation to construction, the GETO team precisely overcame three core challenges: construction organization, preliminary surveying, and technical implementation. Addressing the strict transportation controls and labor shortages on the private Yunding site, a special coordination team identified suitable construction teams, ensuring the smooth entry of personnel, materials, and equipment. Facing the impenetrable environment of the primeval forest, the surveying team pioneered paths on foot to complete site surveys, laying a solid data foundation.
The technical implementation phase presented even greater challenges: Temporary road construction frequently resulted in landslides due to complex geology. After three route adjustments, stability was ensured through 50,000 cubic meters of earthwork and the installation of double-row concrete culverts. Pile foundation construction focused on addressing the issues of large elevation differences and narrow platforms, constructing standardized platforms to improve positioning accuracy. Due to site limitations, the precast beam yard was optimized in collaboration with the owner, employing a combination of technologies such as wire mesh sprayed concrete to achieve dual protection of slope stability and foundation bearing capacity. All these breakthroughs were supported by product adaptability and service professionalism, steadily advancing the project construction.

△ Green Construction: Protecting the Ecological Foundation of the Plateau
The Yunding Mountain area has a tropical rainforest climate with a six-month rainy season and is a nature reserve, placing extremely high environmental protection requirements. GETO New Materials integrated green concepts into the entire construction process, protecting the ecology through high-quality management. Multi-stage sedimentation tanks and temporary drainage systems were planned, and slopes were protected using a three-dimensional approach of "shotcrete + grass planting + geotextile covering." Exposed soil was covered before heavy rains to prevent soil erosion. A specific environmental protection plan was formulated, strictly prohibiting the discharge of muddy water into the municipal pipe network. Regular water quality monitoring and routine cleaning of sedimentation tanks were conducted to ensure compliant discharge, achieving coordinated progress in project construction and ecological protection.
