Project Overview
The Headquarters Building of Dajia Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen adopts aluminum formwork products from GETO. Standing at 273 meters high, it serves as a new landmark in Houhai, Shenzhen. Adopting a curved facade for the super high-rise tower, it has broken the 200-meter height threshold and set a new height record for local buildings.
As one of the longest main-span bridges of its type in Southeast Asia, the Saribas Bridge features ultra-long pile foundations in water, large pile caps, high piers, and extra-long spans, making construction technically challenging. Upon completion, the bridge will significantly improve local transport and boost regional economic growth.
Facing Shenzhen Bay Cultural Square, the Shenzhen Headquarters Tower of Dajia Property and Casualty Insurance is located at the Houhai Headquarters Base in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, adjacent to the well-known landmark China Resources Tower, also known as the Spring Bamboo. It has a total construction area of 217,000 square meters, consisting of one main tower and two auxiliary buildings. The project has a maximum of 57 floors above ground with a peak height of 273 meters.
The project started construction in May 2021, and the core tube of the main tower has now exceeded 200 meters in height. To accelerate the construction progress of the tower core tube, the project innovatively applied an "External Climbing & Internal Supporting" system combining hydraulic climbing formwork for core tubes and aluminum formwork.
Project Characteristics
As a new urban landmark of Shenzhen, both the main building and annex buildings adopted GETO’s matched combination of aluminum formwork and climbing frame, the classic supporting CP set for high-rise buildings. The project faces multiple construction challenges including deep foundation pit, curved external wall structure and numerous variable-height floors. To ensure efficient pre-construction preparation, GETO self-developed one-click intelligent formwork layout software and virtual pre-assembly system greatly accelerated the early-stage design work.
