Project Overview
This project is located in a core area of South Asia and is a super high-rise landmark building. GETO provided a full aluminium formwork solution covering the basement, podium, and tower stages – a successful attempt at using “full aluminium formwork” in a complex super high-rise building. Through highly standardised formwork design and intelligent formwork matching technology, the formwork system was efficiently transferred and reused from the basement to the podium and then to the tower.

1. Highly Integrated Design Challenges
The project integrates multiple complex design elements:
- Curved surfaces: Extensive use of curved forms on the building façade and internal structures
- Circular columns: Large-diameter circular columns requiring extremely high accuracy in curved formwork fitting
- Custom irregular shapes: A large number of non-standard, customised components
- Asymmetric layout: Both plan and vertical structures are asymmetric, increasing formwork matching complexity
- Special angles: Multiple structural intersections at unconventional angles, requiring customised formwork for each case
2. Highly Distinctive Architectural Landmark
The overall architectural shape is unique: from an aerial view, it resembles a joyfully galloping horse. The façades of the four towers feature layered rotating curves, creating a dynamic and elegant visual effect, like a heavenly horse dancing beside lotus flowers at a celestial pool. This dynamic appearance gives the project exceptional recognisability and landmark value.
3. High Standardisation and High Reuse Requirements
The client wanted to maximise material utilisation by transferring the formwork system from the basement to the podium and then to the tower. This placed high demands on standardised design, universal connection nodes, and ease of assembly and disassembly.

GETO provided a complete aluminium formwork solution from the basement through the podium to the tower. All formwork is made of high-strength aluminium alloy. Through detailed customised design, every panel was adapted to the complex geometry while ensuring that after disassembly it could be accurately reused on subsequent floors.

3. High Standardisation and High Turnover Efficiency
Through the optimised formwork matching enabled by XiaoZhi software, GETO achieved a high level of standardisation. The client was able to disassemble the basement formwork and fully reuse it in the podium and tower construction, maximising material utilisation efficiency, significantly reducing total project cost, and minimising construction waste – in line with green construction principles.
